What is CJC-1295 DAC?
CJC-1295 DAC is the same 29-residue GHRH analog as the standard form, with one significant addition: a Drug Affinity Complex — a maleimidoproprionic acid group — that binds covalently to circulating serum albumin after administration.
That albumin binding is what defines the molecule. Because albumin has a multi-day circulating half-life, the conjugated peptide is protected from renal clearance and enzymatic degradation, and the published literature describes an exposure profile measured in days rather than minutes.
